Just was wondering what, if anything you'd like changed, or love about it... and what phone are you coming from?

Re: Likes and Dislikes

I am coming from the Evo.

I like the rubber textured back, the grooves on the volume and camera keys are a very nice touch.
Screen for some reason just feels great to touch and type on, dunno, almost like it has a soft give to it or something.
Performance is amazing when opening and using apps.
Battery life has already kicked my Evo's ass that was running Cyanogen. I can actually use the phone and not watch my battery all day.
I love the cut off edges, the phone just overall feels great in your hand.
Overall, I have no gripes about this phone. I am glad I burned an upgrade on it.

Re: Likes and Dislikes

I used one of upgrades for a new OG EVO for my daughter and the other upgrade I had for the E3D and still have 3 weeks to return. I have a 3rd upgrade coming in 2 months as well. I'm still considering this phone as HTC's quality seems to have bit the dust for some reason and was looking for an alternative manufacturer to possibly get behind.

I have read the reviews for this phone and it's been a mixed bag basically do to the software. Motoblur, blah! But as for hardware I hear it's pretty solid except for the pentile screen. I guess I might have to take my happy ass to a sprint store and check it out. Don't get me wrong, I love my 3D because it has so much potential but hell, just putting on my screen protector (on my kitchen table that has a custom soft cover) warped the crap out of the red metal surrounding the camera lenses! I got it back to normal but that's just freakin' stupid.

Re: Likes and Dislikes

Well it's all over the forums at android central that people are having to pull the battery to make and receive calls. It also craps out while in a call. I personally still will wait and see before I make any rash decisions.

Calls have been working great for me so far -In fact, call quality is noticeably better for me. Will put it to a real test tomorrow at the office. So far, I really like it.

Re: Likes and Dislikes

I am coming from the EVO 4G. The Photon with Launcher Pro Plus is absolute awesomeness.

BTW, I also have a 3G Airave. The Photon and the Airave don't mix well. I have issues with incoming.outgoing calls and SMS messages. When I turn the Airave off, all the issues are gone. Don't know which piece of hardware has the issues though. But since the radio in the Photon has such good reception, I can do without my Airave.

Re: Likes and Dislikes

No problems here making and receiving calls. I'm coming from an EVO 3D (had it only briefly) and I'm very happy so far.

I think the thing I like the best about my wife's 3D is the dedicated camera button/touch focus. How is the camera?

Is this basically the Atrix? Video out? Can I let my daughter watch an hour of Dora without being plugged in?

Is there a seperate SD Card slot as well as the 16GB onboard? One complaint I have heard from my friend with an Atrix is that, first the partition is small. With only 2GB for programs, you have to be consious of what and where you put things (same as any phone), however when you use an SD card, you have to "choose" what and when you use things. Causes some problems with playing music from SD Card when player is in storage memory
