Re: compatibility with MS Office........

It will let you work with microsoft works docs spreadsheets etc, unfortunately doing this requires a 30.00 application. There's a free app that will let you view MS word docs. and spreadsheets but not edit them or create new ones.

Here's a link to the paid software that gives full access:
http://www.androlib.com/android.appl...oapp-jjiq.aspx

and heres a link to the free app for just viewing:

Re: compatibility with MS Office........

right. Documents to Go is the only full featured app in the market that will let you view all MS office files and create them as well.
if you download the 'free' version, and then register it through your droid, you can then go online (from your PC) and purchase the full version (key) for only 9.99
it's must better than the 29.99 from the market..

Re: compatibility with MS Office........

yep! i should add, that when you register your free version from the Droid, it will come back and give you a reg key.. (which you will be find by clicking the 'about' icon from the menu..

it's that Reg Key, that you plug in on the dataviz.com website from your PC, and it takes you to the checkout process for the Activation Key, for 9.99.
once you checkout and pay, the key is then posted to your dataviz.com account (using the email and name that you registered the 'free' version with...

then you go back to your Droid, and click 'Activate'... and it does an OTA sync with the dataviz servers to grab they key..

those cats sure figured it out. no torrent or keygens for this puppy. genius OTA authentication.. hats off to 'em !

If you go into the Verizon tab in the Market Place the full version is listed as 9.99.
