multi-touch? Discuss...

anyone hear of multi-touch being incorporated into standard use, i know the phone is capable and that there was some BS reasons for not incorporating it at release.

how would you like it to be used? would you like it to be used?

Me- i heard they didnt bring it out on release b/c of an apple issue, but i have no good resource for that.

would like the multi-touch to be used for media and web especially.

Re: multi-touch? Discuss...

I also read something about the pinch to zoom feature not being used because of patent and copyright issues with apple, but I'm not sure how factual that is. At least the phone is capable of multi touch and pinch to zoom, they just didnt implement it in the native phone apps. There are apparently some media viewing apps (pics and video) that use the pinch to soom feature, and I imagine it's only a matter of time till we have a browser with pinch to zoom as well. I really dont feel like I need to have "pinch to zoom" but if it becomes available I will use it.
