Re: Random Reboots

Got a replacement, and its working beautifully now so I'm guessing it was just a lemon. Vzw said there will be a firmware update on december 11 as well. Talk about an early planned update!

Re: Random Reboots

The update is supposed to have bug fixes, "stuff you wouldnt notice" (i think we will notice it being the geeks we are, hopefully a hole we can exploit for root), she also mentioned that their will also be another update in jan. Weird they already have 2 planned updates now...

Re: Random Reboots

I know one thing they plan to fix is the camera focus. I haven't found anything else that needs fixing yet though.

Make sure your NOT USING the Privacy Protector on your phone... they've been recalled. If you've got one - thats whats making your phone unresponsive or shutting it down.

I can see the screen becoming unresponsive but how is it figured that it shuts the device down?

Something along the lines of the way the car dock works.. doesn't make sense because its magnet based.. but it sure does shut it down.

Hmm, I can verify that it does not shut mine down as it is on my phone now and I don't have the issue.
