i bought the clear blue snap on case from vzw to not have to worry about battery door so never really looked into replacing it.

I ordered some but eh, I haven't had any issues with the battery door. Mine is a pain to get off in the first place.

My point was that for weeks VZW has been saying "huh? bad battery cover? there's no stinking bad battery covers!" All the while, Moto was shipping them. Sorry for the poor wording.

If folk found VZW was out of stock, I offered Moto's number.
