2.1 coming soon for the Droid?
 

So from what i have read on the internet, Android 2.1 may be coming to the droid on Jan 22 2010. I know that there is a ported version for a rooted droid right now but this is coming from the factory so all options and feature should be compatible and no root needed

I would love to root my phone and get it now but im not comfortable rooting my phone just yet, maybe when i get more familiar with linux.

awesome if thats true just means 2.1 roms will be much more stable. :)
