tether with verizon
 

hey, my buddy has a driod X ver 1 with verzion. Can he tether (Wirless)for free like I can on my Evo with sprint? I use Barnacle and Im good to go, but I wanted to check to make sure it was the same as sprint and my evo. Last thing I want to do is screw up his plan with verizon.

I also may switch from sprint if I can do this. Anyone have a clue?

If you switch to verizon get the nexus, its rooted and wifi tether works. At least you'll get decent 3g speeds and awesome lte speeds. Something Sprint has promised for sometime next year. Only reason I'm staying is for my great discounts. Sprint better keep their promise.
