Images not showing up in gallery

Anyone know why pictures taken from previous phone or camera dont show up in gallery? I've resized them and they are the same .jpeg format.

welp I found that a sd card unmount, mount was necessary. a simple reboot was not sucessful.

I've had sort of the opposite problem. I xfer'd my pics from my BB no problem, they all show up. My phone had a phase where pictures I took wouldn't save, they were gone within seconds of being taken. This may not be the answer you were looking for. Did you transfer them all via computer?

yes, all transfered with phone plugged into usb, but just unmounting/mounting sd worked and images showed up properly.
