Re: Thinking about getting a Droid X but had questions..

I'm also considering the Droid X. I'm having trouble deciding between the X and the Samsung Fascinate (Galaxy S). I currently have the Storm 2 which I love mainly because of BBM, but BB needs to do some major improvements with their phones. I used to have a HTC touch. so which one do you all suggest?

I looked at the Fascinate and was really torn between the two when I ordered my Droid X (still waiting for it though since it's on order). The screen looks great on the Fascinate (bright vivid colors). The things that ultimately decided it for me was the onscreen keyboard was easier to use on the Droid X, more on board memory and a better camera.

Yeah after about 2 weeks my friend finally got their X. I got a chance to play with the keyboard and I must say that it was nice and really easy to use. I think I'm gonna go with the X!

That is where I'm at now. Have a TP2 and am looking at DX or Fascinate. Eligible to upgrade on 10/20 and plan on having my phone that day...

Just need help deciding which one...

Re: Thinking about getting a Droid X but had questions..

I've had my Droid X for about a week now and am really satisfied with the device, esp the virtual keyboard in landscape mode (almost seems like you are using a physical one).

Good luck

Re: Thinking about getting a Droid X but had questions..

I finally took the plunge. Ordered my X and except to receive it today (9/30).

What finally made me pick the X?

I was up in the air about the DInc, DX, D2, and Fascinate. I liked different things about them all, and saw short-comings in all. The final decision what after making a few phone calls. The X's sound quality on both ends was MUCH better than the rest.

Re: Thinking about getting a Droid X but had questions..

Another happy convert here! The phone is fast and the screen if beautiful killer

Just really pissed about the exchange problem. If you are used to exchange sync, this wannabe doesn't come close and only works with domains with three letters after dot.
If you have a 2010 exchange and all its power, you will be disappointed to hear that android doesn't know what to do with a domain like .info
That said still love this bad boy!
