Verizon Extended Battery only 1840mah!

I just got the extended battery and can confirm that it will fit with the stock cover. Its tight but fits. I can fit it in the car dock just fine with the vzn silicone case. There is the little nub that needs to be cut off in the dock, that others have mentioned but, it works just fine. also the bat is 1880 not 1840 to be exact.

Well, I took the plunge & picked one up at a local store last night. It says 1930 mah on the box and 1880/1930 on the battery. Who knows & who cares???? All that matters is TODAY i took the phone off the charger @ 6:30am and @ 11:30 I'm still @ 80%! By this time on the stock batt, I'd be well under 50%.


My usage:

• 1 hour of Pandora
• about 30 text msgs
• 3 pop email accounts polling every 15 mins
• about an hour of Facebook/surfing
• 7 screens with widgets using Launcher Plus Pro
• 3 short phone calls
• vibration alerts
• brightness set at 20
• 1 minute screen timeout
• fluctuating between 1x & 3G in my office, sometimes NO signal

Overall, I am beyond pleased on day 1!

I recently got my X along with an extended battery (BH6X), which states it is 1880 mAh. My question is the use of the back cover. There's a speical cover that came with it and I noticed something that is bugging me.

The STD cover states, "Only use Motorola BH5X battery with this cover".
The extended cover states, "Only use Motorola BH6X battery with this cover".

When looking at the back of the X and at the cover, i noticed a little pressure point (switch) that is being pressed with the BH5X cover and not the BH6X cover. Located upper left under the battery cover.

The cover on the BH5X has a little scratch where it engages with the pressure point. Any ideas what it is?

Funny, I was wondering the exact same thing (just didn't notice the witness marks on the standard door)!!!

Perhaps you should make this same post (with pics) in the other Droid X forums as well to get a quicker response.

EDIT 2....I actually have a slight witness mark on the BH6X door.
