keep losing my multimedia sound??

This has happened to me 3 times now.

The system sounds work fine (screen clicks etc), but I get no sound from my music player or Sling mobile. I have the media volume set to 100%, but when this happens it has always reset itself to 0% & when I push the volume button & raise it nothing happens.

Nothing except removing the battery & restarting it seems to fix the problem.

Re: keep losing my multimedia sound??

This is happening to me as well. Im using the moto s9-hd bluetooth headset. When using the stock music player or beyondpod the audio goes out at random usually after the first 10 seconds of the track. I can skip it up to around 1 minute and the audio comes back. Very strange issue....i have the 07/19 update

It's not an issue with the headset as i just tried it with the speaker and still get the "dead air"

Re: keep losing my multimedia sound??

I don't think it's a headset problem. I also use a Motorola S9-HD, but when I was having the problem I had not been using the headset.

One time when the sound was dead, I turned on BT & connected the HS & the sound worked fine through the HS.

I only had it happen a few times & then it has been fine ever since so who knows??
