Preorder from Verizon

So I had to call VZW to activate my replacement Touch Pro2 (had that oily effect on the screen that renders the touchscreen useless) and I asked the CSR about the Droid X pre-orders. Turns out that if you are trying to return an Incredible or you are on the Incredible wait list they will take your pre-order. Interesting tidbit for all of us trying to get on the list.

I am returning my DINC so I gave them a call. They said they are offering it only to people that have a DINC on back order.

Well now it seems BB is not even doing any more pre-ordering. I got the info in an RSS feed from Andriod Police and called BB yesterday and they confirmed. The lady said they had so many orders they stopped because they wanted to make sure everyone got one.

With all the Incredible ordered getting transferred to DX orders, I see a big shortage of DX units now.

Seems I might not get one at all or for a while now.

I pre-ordered mine on Walmart.com, and it will be arriving here on Monday. couple days after release but at-least I will have one.
