3g / Hotspot(Tether) Quality
 

Im trying to find out how the 3G/Wifi hotspot/Wireless tether, and usb tether quality is. on the Droid 2.

i only ask cause, i had the Droid X since it was released, the phone is awesome except for the 3G dropping issues. i use pda net, wireless tether and the VZW 3g hotspot feature alot. and they all drop the 3g signal.

ive googled this for the Droid 2 and have found nothing so far, all of the google searches bring up the Droid x data problems. which i doubt will ever get fixed.

3g tether only works if you have a 3g signal. If you're in an area where it drops to 1x, you'll loose wireless tether. I don't imagine there would be much difference from the droidx to the droid2 in this regard.

I would think that the Samsung phone is very good
