Motoblur... Thoughts??

I actually like it... Im sure its the reason why we still have 1.6, but I have messed with Droid and I dont see a huge difference...

I like that all accounts are merged into one and I have access to all friends info... Also, no more logging in every time and updates and text pop up instantly with the contacts picture so you instantly know who it is...

What do others think??

Re: Motoblur... Thoughts??

there's a HUGE difference between 1.6 and 2.1.

anyway I just added this phone on my plan for my brother and messed around with the Motoblur and honestly wasnt really feeling it. Its a cool idea i guess but forcing it on people is not the way to go and it could use improvement. Also theres no real need for it. Then again i dont have a myspace, facebook or anything like that so maybe thats why i dont see a need for it

Yeah true... If you dont have a Facebook to merge it with to get contact pics and all, it probably does seem a bit useless...

All though I didnt play with it much I couldn't find an option to shut it off. Is there 1? Maybe in a setting somewhere I missed?

I havent tried... Its made into the Android program itself... I am curious though if it will be optional when they give it the 2.1 upgrade... Im hearing we are supposed to get it but you know how that goes also...
