increase in-call volume??? Please help!

I need to increase my in call volume! i can barely hear, and yes i have the volume all the way up. someone said if you go to HKLM/software/htc/startupanimation and disable it, that it will take care of the volume issues. When i go to that folder, there is just the default with NOTHING there! Also, i have played with the attenuation and the initial volumes and none of the settings i've changed have made a difference. Please help! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Nice find ezln, it worked.. I went from barely being able to hear to backing away from the phone and turning the volume down.. Thanks..

UPDATE: it did in fact have a defect tho... I noticed when i plugged headphones into my phone, i was getting no sound thru them. instead the sound was playing from the actual EAR SPEAKER instead of thru the headphone jack. This is a problem for me as i use my headphone jack quite a bit... Im guessing since this CAB file was written fora touch pro and not a pro 2, it has caused this... Im back at square one..
