TFLO3D Calendar: Always defaults to today?

I have manually set my calendar to default to month view, however when I click calendar in TFLO3D it opens it up to todays agenda. It does however start in Month view but then will snap immediately to todays view.

I have disabled TFLO3D and then launched my calendar and it will pop up to month view and stay there.

Does anyone know if this is default for TFLO3D to launch calendar in Today view only? Has anyone been able to launch thier calendar in Month view in TFLO3D?

I use Pocket Informant and I would like Touch Flo to open that up instead! Anyone know if it can be done?

This will fix it: Menu>Tools>Options. then set "start in" to month view.

it worked for me.

It won't 'stick' when I follow the instructions above. The next time I go to calendar, it very briefly opens month view but then opens agenda view. How did you get it to stay on month view?

If it worked for you, then you must have TF3D disabled.

I have 2 of the Alltel Touch Pros and I was able to set them to month view with no problem. However, I kept having troubles with one of the phone's keyboard not working properly. Now that Alltel is now Verizon, they finally gave me a brand new Verizon Touch Pro. Now I can't set it to mounth view and I have it as the same setting as my other Alltel Touch Pro. It will very briefly pop up as the mounth view and then goes to the daily agenda view. It must be the different carriers. IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY! Please tell me someone has a fix to this.

Also, does anyone have the Youtube app? Verizon's version does not come loaded with it.

This is the Diamond section. Reported to be moved to the TP section.

This annoyed me when I had the HTC Touch Pro.
But now that I have the HTC Pure (which I think is pretty much the Diamond 2, which is pretty much the Touch Pro 2 only without the slide out keyboard)....and clicking the calender from the home page, opens my calender in month view (just how I like it).
Maybe it's the updated version of TF3D

I remember having to add a ~ or something to the end of a registry key. I will search for it because I was skeptical but it worked like a charm.

Edit: Ok it appears it was "-vm" or view month.

Here is the post I used with success.

Thanks for the tip on SSMaPa vangrieg!

Installed it, added "-vm" in the arguments box belonging to calendar.exe, and after some messages I am now enjoying my calendar in glorious Month view!

And before I forget, the other possible arguments are: -vd for Day view, -vw for Week view, -vy for Year view and of course -va for the dreaded Agenda view

Re: TFLO3D Calendar: Always defaults to today?

I had that problem with Sprint TP, and I hated it. Now I have the TP2 and HTC is trying to complete envelope WM with it's own custom TF3D crap... now the calendar only displays in day or month view--no week, or no year!

I actually used year view, as I would scroll through years quickly in year view and then enter people's birthdays on the exact day, month, and year they were born. It was cool, because after marking it as recurring from that date onward, the calendar would display the recurrance in parenthesis each year. It helped me remember how old my old parents were :)

So far, I haven't found a tweak to the TP2 calendar yet...

Thanks, mikel81 for the link. Too bad I didn't find this when I had the TP.
