FM Radio in LG Fathom?
 

The BT chipset in LG Fathom is capable of receiving FM Radio. In windows folder there is a file "BTFM.exe".

Is it possible to listen to FM Radio in LG Fathom?

Dear headhair,

As I have seen in its service manual, I have not found any hardware or tuner section for FM radio. It is bluetooth FM and I do not know what for this software is in windows part. there are also another useless .exe files are in windows folder like btspy, gpsone etc, I have not remembered all.
Any way Have you downloaded its circuit diagram ? If not I am giving you the address from where You can download and can see its hardware diagram.

I think the BTFM is for bluetooth FM modules that you can buy and pair with the device. There may be a way to unlock FM radio via bluetooth, but it would have to be with custom firmware on the Bluetooth module.

Actually the Chip used in LG Fathom.

contains hardware for WiFi, BT and FM Radio. You can search
Google for details.

I put this question because some months ago, I read in a forum,
that by installing appropriate driver, FM Radio has been activated for HTC model phone.
