New Latest ROM LG Fathom V7 with Manila 2.5

Dear vkgupta87
The rom is in .bin file format not in .cab format, so you have to use LGNPST for flashing the rom.
If you do not have LGNPST you can download from http://www.mediafire.com/?azm89r85x6k2hhz or search by google for LG Drivers and LGNPST in which you find all details. This software works only on winXP sp2 or 3. Before flashing be sure to copy your .nvs file of your phone by LGNPST. In LGNPST there is option phone setting. So that in case of any problem you can rewrite your .nvs file.
Please do it on your own risk. although there is no any risk if you do it in a proper way.

i hav nw installed LGNPST & connected my phone..

could u please explain hw to copy .nvs file of my phone?? i didnt find any option there..

also i havent used LGNPST for flashing earlier, also please step out method to flash manila 2.5 rom...

Dear
1. Put you phone connection to vzaccess manager, connect phone to pc.
2. See the model number and port of LGNPST( it should be VS750 and port number will be the usb port number of your PC).after get connected .
3. There is icon for select/delete in front of where written as bin file middle screen of LGNPST
4. Select your bin file for flashing
5. DO not select SCR,PRL,ERI, etc
6. Select the mode in upgrade mode that is available in provision screen of LGNPST
7. After that there is option seen on LGNPST window written as phone setting, click it show a window read, write, exit. click on read, a window will write your .nvs file, in the location of the where you have installed LGNPST drive \lg electronics\LGNPST folder
you see after opening that folder. from there you can rewrite the .nvs file ( nvs file is your for phone details i.e meid , imei and other so many things.)
8. after reading the phone setting go on exit from that windows, then a screen will be seen flasing for continue, click on continue, then all the bin file selected by you will be seen on screen then click on start. After that flashing starts and will complete after about ten minutes.

ahh .. dunno y but i cant flash the new rom on my fathom . The same magic code error keep popping up . all i could see is

process : Undefined
SubProc :
Cause : there are no magic code.
we cannot get partition table...

I am on V7 , is that the cause of the issue ??

Dear passion_streak
This is not the cause on V7 issue. As you have read on this thread there are two person have downloaded and got success to flash the rom.
You put the bin file in main drive, not in any folder, where your LGNPST installed.
Check your LGNPST. flash in upgrade mode without any prl, eri. file. Before flashing be sure to save .nvs file by phone setting in LGNPST. After this

I have some question:
1. have you kitchen uploaded by spocky/pizzaboy192 ? if yes
have you make any rom with this kitchen ? if yes then after built rom, there is a folder named builtrom in kitchen folder. In builtrom folder there are two folder one is rom (in .bin format) and another temp folder in which there are some files, about 321mb in size.
If you have built any rom with the above kitchen the file in temp folder will support to you for flashing the rom.
Perhaps you have not made any rom so it is asking for magic code.
I had also faced this problem. but not now ?
If you have not built any rom please built a rom. After building rom in the builtrom folder, delete the .bin folder and put my manila rom in that place.
Now you have two folder one temp and another one manila rom.
after that try to flash with LGNPST in upgrade mode.
May be it will help you in flashing.
This was my past experience. otherwise other two persons have not complained regarding magic code problem. they have flashed successfully.

In last if you are very serious in this regard I will have to upload the temp file (it is 321mb).
This is a big problem for you and me as to upload and download.
if you agree to download then you have to wait for some time, till then test above procedure.

hi to all i have unlocked lg fathom i try to update after completing 94% it shows error and now my phone is stocked to emergency download ( downloading do not unplug) mode in LGPNST it shows unknown device at com3 how can i cure it also it shows only 1 dll file version2 i think.. what i should do please tell me
