does any one kno an app that will open .exe files?

my lg fathom wont let me open any exe files that i download.

PPC's use .BIN and .APK. EXE is a PC format, you'll need a program to open the EXE and a program to associate the file to that program too.

(IIRC the program TotalCommander can do that)

Uhm... no. There's plenty of .exe files available for Windows Mobile. You just need to make sure that it is a WM ARM based .exe and not a PC .exe file.
Windows Mobile has never been able to open .APK files. that's Android.
