Would just like to start this thread where people can come in and post their favourite iPhone games that are lesser than $2.99. I'm quite interested as to what kind of games everyone is playing and which are the most addictive. :)

Of course there is always Angry Birds and all of the different versions. But I like and regularly play the following:

Jetpack Joyride - Free
Sketchman - Free
Doodle Bowling - Free
Pool Break - $0.99
Centipede Origins - $0.99
Tiny Wings - $0.99
Star Wars Pit Droids - $1.99

Ok so more recently I read this study on how most adults take longer to improve their vocabulary as compared to children and I realised its definitely true for me. So I decided to download word games that you play and at the same time gives you new words to improve your vocabulary. I mean, its easier to remember stuff when its fun, right?

Would you also happen to know some good iPhone word games that helps serve the purpose? I tried searching for a few but all turned out to be not that good.
