Apple Black Friday Discounts
 

I'm really hoping Apple comes out with some awesome discounts/bundles for Black Friday this year. I'm looking to buy an iPad as a gift for someone but only if I can get the price dropped just a little. Does anyone know if Apple sends out some kind of email at midnight to let ppl know of their sales? I'm going to order online to get 4% cash back (from studentrate.com) on top of whatever other discounts Apple is offering.

Anyone score big last year? Any examples of what we can except this year?

I highly doubt it apple would do too many big things on black Friday. If they do anything it will be on cases and accessories like cables or software. I doubt they'll do it on hardware.

Best Buy had $50 off on them this morning so keep an eye for that to pop back up. Tomorrow apple themselves should be offering 10% off. These are online to.

student rate is STILL having their promotion where you can get 4% cash back when you make an apple purchase through them.

it's a decent discount considering back to school is not in session.

any discount with apple is pretty good.

apple hardly gives out discounts with a few exceptions...
so this discount is better than nothing.
