Unhappy Wizard/MDA will not activesync

I just had to do a hard reset, well I didnt have to - I wanted to. Just to start fresh on a clean palette. Since I've reset, I cannot get my phone to activesync. I even went into the activesync desktop panel and deleted my partnership but I was never given the option to create a new partnership and when I plug my phone into the USB ports, it isnt recognized and will not activesync. Any help on this?
