applications opening on their own

not the phone app but mainly my GPS app (iGo) will randomly start by itself and murders my battery. any ideas

Re: applications opening on their own

You might have set your gps app to keep gps lockon active all of the time without knowing it. Check that . Also have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app? Also check task manager and make sure programs/apps are not running. You do know that unless you specify when you hit the x button apps don't close they just minimize. This can be changed in settings.

GPS app is an exe so no install (and its on the SD), also already changed the x to close when pressed versus held

Have you tried running it from device instead of storage? Some apps don't work well when run from a card.

i like to keep as much off the phone as possible but ill give it a try.
