Windows 7 Device Stage

Hi,
So i have had Windows 7 for a long time now and i remember watching a video on microsoft's website where they connected a smart phone, i believe a nokia and it detected the phone and it showed the device in the taskbar. I tried to do the samething with my Vogue/Touch and it does not do that. All i can see is an icon in My computer. So if anyone knows how to make it show up in the taskbar, that would be brilliant.
