Hey Again....

I have an issue on my Touch/Vogue...

I am having trouble connecting to the internet on my phone now. I have the HTC Touch [CMDA]. Every time I try it give me a message saying "Cannot Connect". It was working fine last night.

I am able to connect to the internet when I Sync to my computer to install programs, transfer files, etc. but no other time. When I go into my Favorites in Internet Explorer the Names are grey in color...like they're not avail anymore.

Can someone help me figure out what I have done? I don't remember messing w/ my Connection Setting. It was working last night...

Any suggestions on what I did & how to fix it?

You might try Cleanram or ClearTemp. Do a search, I think you can get these from this site. Or do a few soft resets.

i had the same problem fixed it by reinstalling a new rom

I have a similar problem. However, I flashed my phone to wm6.1 sprint update and now I have no internet/data. Phone app still works. Everything else works. But when trying to connect to internet, it keeps telling me to soft-reset and try again.

Interesting thing is, my plan is with a local provider who says they "use" the Sprint PCS network. Any ideas anyone?

I believe when you sync your device, it's actually sharing the internet connection your computer has. That may be why it works fine when you sync and it craps out when you have it disconnected.

Double check the Data Connection in the Comm Manager to make sure it's turned ON.
Also check to make sure you're connecting to the Sprint Network by default in Settings>Connections>Advanced>Select Networks

I am having the same issue. Tried everything flashing a new rom and nothing seems to work till i finally gave up on the thing. If anybody has tips i would be pleased to hear

If you flash a rom that is not specifically made for your carrier,
for example a generic rom, and stuff wont work like the data/calls/etc,
then you must run the dcd carrier cab for your carrier.
Soft reset after install, and you should be good to go.
