Re: verizon roaming
WOW, this is the first time i have posted and got nothing. I spoke on the phone with the verizon rep for my employer and she wasn't helpful and had no ideas. She rambled on about a "prl" but when I pressed her for more technical info she had no idea.
I have been with alltel since the inception of 360 communications. Damn verizon. |

Re: verizon roaming
While I don't think it will resolve your dilemma, a prl update is a "Prefered Roaming List" file, that gets installed on your phone by your carrier in order to facilitate roaming on shared provider towers. With Verizon all you do is dial *228 from your cell, first chose option 1 to program your phone, then your phone will reset by itself, when it comes back up, dial *228 again and choose option 2 this time, again your phone will reset itself and now you may get better service (depending on your area, and how long since you have done an update.
