Can anyone suggest a good WM 6.5 ROM for the Verizon XV6900?
 

It'd be great to know one, all that I see are other carriers. Thanks in advance.

NFSFAN puts out a great 6.1 verizon rom for the xv 6900. Here is a thread that is nearly 500 pages long. On page 238 he has posted a 6.5 generic rom. If you read the thread there are some 6900 users. Here's the link... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=432487

..shadow beat me to it.. his promotion is phenomenal lol.. the most you have to do if you flash another carrier [that's a custom rom] is maybe change a few programs that will only work for that specific carrier [example - sprintnav or sprint tv; by the way i use NO sprint apps on mine] so yeah.. and i say that from experience, i didn't realize shadow's was a verizon rom until after i flashed it, and had no problems that someone else didn't have[those pesky little keyboards].

if i'm wrong about that someone correct me before i personally brick my phone lol.

I loaded NFSFANS ROM last week and I have been very happy with it. It has run very smoothly.

I was thinking of using Nfsfans rom but don't know how to use the .cab file can anyone tell me how?

The cab file? what? A ROM is either a .nbh or .exe (probably a .nbh) and you use the RUU in the file to get it on. Now if you mean the DCD carrier cabs, you just pick out your specific carriers cab, put it on your storage card and after you flash, install it.

I figured it out, just run it like an .exe my first week with a smart phone. wasn't sure if I needed a 3rd party program.
