Battery Killer

This has been a problem since I got my phone almost a year ago. I have an alltel touch. Even though I have all the display notifications turned off, and all of the repeat notifications turned off, anytime a call, an email, a text message, an alarm, Etc, etc comes in and I don't acknowledge it immediately it kills the battery. The display light comes on and stays on till I "find" it or the battery dies. This has become very annoying, anyone else with this issue? Any help appreciated.

Re: Battery Killer

Have you tried flashing a different ROM to the phone?

Re: Battery Killer

I have not. Since updating to the new alltel ROM when 6.1 came out I have been happy. Call quality is great. GPS works flawlessly. It does everything I want and need it to. Its just the battery thing with all the alerts.

Re: Battery Killer

Have you swapped out the battery, perhaps its no good.
I know here locally with Sprint, I went in and mentioned issues with
battery time and just went to the back and brought me out a
new battery, no issues, no charge

Re: Battery Killer

I actually have two batteries I use and just ordered a third. It seems to be the same with both of the ones I currently have.

Re: Battery Killer

check your notification settings, it might be set to display light forever or something can set a notification to flash light for "no limit" which will go on and on and on.....
