Arcsoft MMS: some issues

Couldn't find any answers via search, so I hope this thread doesn't get deleted. I'm using Arcsoft MMS 5, and every time I send a text I keep getting texts right afterwards, from "System Administrator," saying "The message you sent has been delivered." Can't seem to disable it. Also, the foward option doesn't do anything except close the message. Any solutions?

Re: Arcsoft MMS: some issues

Make sure that your phone number is intered in the registery for Arcsoft

Look at
\HKLM\Software\ArcSoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\WspHeader\

your phone number should be entered in X-VzW-MDN

I'm a VZW user and this is what I have to do.

Yeah, mine says X-Cricket-MDN, and it's set to my phone number.

Re: Arcsoft MMS: some issues

Are you using Cricket or Verizon? This will make a difference with that setting. If you are using cricket, your setting is correct, if you are using verizon then you will need it to be set to the above setting.

Re: Arcsoft MMS: some issues

I'm using Cricket, and it's set to Cricket MDN. I fixed the "System Administrator" message thing, stopped it from notifying me when the message was sent, but the Forward option still doesn't work for MMS.

Re: Arcsoft MMS: some issues

I am not on cricket but I had a similar problem on US Cellular with Arcsoft. It turned out that the problem was the beta version of US Cellular Arcsoft I was using. I uninstalled it and installed the more stable Verizon cab and then configured it to my carrier per post #324 here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...404345&page=33

Hope it helps.

The Verizon cab is on the first page of the above thread

Re: Arcsoft MMS: some issues

I think this tweak called "no sms send notification"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox \Settings]
"SMSNoSentMsg"="1"
I could be wrong.
