Unhappy Daylight Savings adjustment changed Calendar appointments?

I have a question. When the daylight savings update occurred on my wife's phone it changed the time on her calender appointments? Why and how do you fix? Ex. appointment for 9:00am is set correctly when you go to update, but when you look at the time in the day view and what shows on the today screen it shows the appointment at 10:00am. I reset the phone, didn't work. So I tried changing the time on the appointment. If I set it for 10:00am it shows up for 11:00am. I would appreciate the help in fixing this.

Re: Daylight Savings adjustment changed Calendar appointments?

i kept showing up to meetings an hour late on my old phone until i realized that my phone had reset all my appointments for daylight savings. the touch did not though so i dont know why it was reseting. i do tether to the pc regularly so that may affect the calendar, i dont sync the calendar with pc, i use the htc calendar that came with the phone. so if you are syncing calendar that may affect it, if you are using a different phone calendar that may affect it. other than that the calendar should not change. the phone itself will adjust to daylight savings but the calendar will not change. I just tested this yesterday and it was deadon.

Re: Daylight Savings adjustment changed Calendar appointments?

I recently had some time/calendar issues with my VZW xv6900 that I never could resolve - I finally did a hard reset
Verizon has this link in the xv6900 support info that may address your problems
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...gs-update.mspx
Good Luck Hope this Helps

Re: Daylight Savings adjustment changed Calendar appointments?

Had the same problem and figured it was something to do with DST. Very annoying and I too have been late for all meetings this week. Thanks to wmnoobie for that MSFT link...I guess that solves the problem, although it doesn't seem like something that should happen.

Re: Daylight Savings adjustment changed Calendar appointments?

I live in AZ where we do not observe DST and have always had this problem, I have to manually change from MST to PDT during DST each year. Instead of changing the times for each appointment I just delete the sync connection to the computer, use pim backup to delete all appointments then resync. ist a PITA but faster than changing them one by one.

Re: Daylight Savings adjustment changed Calendar appointments?

I just went through this with my TP. I ended up just deleting and re-creating my appointments. What a PIA

Same here... Is there an all around fix for this, because I am begining to think Its a winMo problem... not a device or device specific problem

Re: Daylight Savings adjustment changed Calendar appointments?

That's interesting. I've never had a problem with DST messing up my appointments just by having DST pass. Now when I was using the trial version of Birdiesync with Thunderbird and Lightning, it messed up my appointments when I synced...

Thanks for the heads up, I was thinking of going with Birdiesync when my goosync sub is up. (Do away with the cloud and all)
