opera mobile 9.5 biuld 15233 not recognizing VZW vogue 6900 keyboard

hello, i have tested both the new beta version of opera mobile, not inpressed so far & have taken the build off of my omnia & put on my vzw vogue. for some reason though it will not recognize any of the tough keyboards/keypads. let me take that back. it does recognize them but when i type it only comes out as #'s & no letters. anyone know why or how to fix? everything working ok except for this
