Installing Software, not working...
Hi,
I just got my HTC Touch today and wanted to add several programs, so far I haven't been able to install one... I just downloaded VNC Viewer for PDA's and when I go to install I get this error. "There is no application associated with ''vnc''. Run the application first, then open this file from within the application. Also tried installing Aver Media Video Viewer for PDA's with this error, 'Setup' is not a valid Pocket PC Application. Both softwares claim they work with Windows Mobile 6. Any Ideas? Thanks! |

Sounds like these programs need to be installed from your computer through activesync.

there are a multitude of programs that say they work with wm6x but dont. If you find one that you really want then search for the cab file via google and see if there is a cab created for it. cabs install automatically. if you get a rar file (a compression software) you need to download and install pocketrar first. then you can open the rar files and then extract them to where you want. it gets easier the more you play with it
