Sprint to Verizon

I tired searching but I know it has to be possible. I'm trying to get a sprint htc touch to work on the verizon network. I know I must unlock the phone first and flash a verizon rom. But I want to know is it as simple as that? Then do I just call up Verizon and activate the touch on the verizon account or what? Is there something i have to do with the a-key or esn or something? thanks in advance!

I could really use someone's help. I loaded the prl for verizon and a verizon rom but when I call up verizon they are telling me the ESN will not work. So does that mean I need to change my ESN and how do I know what to change it to? Thanks.

Verizon has to add the ESN to their database... something that they are unlikely to do.
