Is the magnet in the included case bad for the screen?

I know long term magnet exposure to lcds is bad(psp), so Is the magnet in the included case bad, and for those who use this case do you face the phoone forward or backward in the case.

Re: Is the magnet in the included case bad for the screen?

the magnet is more then likely not strong enough to effect the phone...any way i use to just face the screen towards inward and never gave it a second thought...

You can put it in either way its not gonna hurt it. For regular daily carry though, its designed to hold the phone "screen in" (toward the clip) This is evident by the USB port and power button be covered and protected in this position. If you need to charge it while in the case flip it "screen out" and the USB is now uncovered.

Re: Is the magnet in the included case bad for the screen?

lcd's dont usually hurt from magnetic exposure. The psp has other parts in its system which cause the screen to deteriorate with magnetic exposure. In the case of CRT, well, magnets are its kryptonite. So dont worry about the case, its designed keeping the phone in mind =)
