All Programs link in Manila2d

Hey guys,

I'm not sure if this has been said anywhere on the site. I searched but can't find anything. Anyway, I apologize if it has been discussed.

This is the problem. The All Programs button which was not working with the Manila 2d was fixed by adding the folderview.exe file into the windows directory. That made it work which was great but I now notice something.

When you run a game that are located in a subfolder of the programs folder, it disables the All Program softkey in Manila2d. Has anyone else notice this as well? Maybe it has something to do with programs located in a subfolder.

Is there any fix for this? Manila2d is getting better and better, just hoping that all the kinks are worked out.

Re: All Programs link in Manila2d

I never had to do anything to get the All Programs soft key to work.

I just ran a game that was located in a subfolder of the programs folder and the All Programs key still works perfectly.

Seems like a lot of these weird problems only affect a few people.

You need folderview.exe in your windows directory for this to work.

I already have this as stated in my messages. The problem I'm having now is that the all programs key doesnt work after playing games. I would have to soft reset to get it to work again. Though sometimes it works...so I'm not too sure.

Manila2d seems to have bugs still...before email didnt work and now it does somewhat, still crashes but not as bad as before.

iirc there are more than one version of the folderview.exe and your issue sounds related to having the "wrong" folderview..... might try using the provided one anyway to see if it helps. What game did you load? i'll test it on my end if i have the same game.

Re: All Programs link in Manila2d

kevtris, mobile mines, bubble breaker, solitaire are some of the games. I think it may have something to do with things being in a subfolder since I use trapster as well and it's on a subfolder and when I run it, it also disables the all program softkey. thanks
