Anyone get email preview working in Manilla2D?...

I'm using Official Sprint Touch 6.1 ROM.

If I switch to email tab and preview partially downloaded email (Windows Live Mail), Manilla2D.exe will crash.

Does anyone get email working in Manilla2D without any problems?...

I have the same problem. I've already mentioned this on the 20748 kitchen stickied thread. From what I can tell, it seems if the preview is too long it crashes. It has worked sometimes, like when I get new emails and it doesn't have a preview of the message yet but have "Click here to view" instead or if the message is short it works and doesn't crash. I can even flip from one mail to another, but as soon as I get into a email that already has the preview downloaded and it's long, it'd crash.

It doesn't seem like a lot of people are having this problem since no many people have mentioned it either...I'm sure if it keeps crashing more people will complain...sigh

I just talked to a friend today and he says his works only with gmail but not with hotmail. I only use hotmail so I tried adding gmail on there. It seems to work with the few emails I have, but when I go to hotmail, it crashes almost immediately or after 1-2 flips of emails. It may have something to do with hotmail. Are you using hotmail for email as well?

Anyone have previews working with hotmail? if so let us know so I can eliminate that as a cause for manila2d crashing.

Go over to XDA Herg has a new version of 2D out like ver 13. The only problem is no you tube. This new version rocks.

My email preview has been working since the original beta cab. I'm running the one released on the 16th now [build your own]. It all works, youtube, pictures, audio..

try this cab...

not mine, so I take no credit for it, just passing it along cuz it fixed my "no add msn accounts" issue, hope it works for you.

Has anyone come up with a fix for Outlook/Exchange mail yet? I can see th e# of emails I have on the tab, but it shows "No Account" and no previews show up.

I know I am not the only one with this problem, but I have yet to see if anyone has been able to fix it. Have any of you seen a fix for it yet?

Delete the account, then re-create it from the new account button in m2d.

How do I create a new account when it has to go through the exchange server? Sorry to be such a dope. When I set it up initially, I do it via my office laptop and active sync. How do I set up a new account when all I am given to set it up is the email address and password? Don't I need the exchange server address?

Hi, you will need the exchange server and the password after you delete the current one and add it again.
