cant clear memory

i am running nex's hulk rom. i changed the cache size to smaller in the settings, which i can no longer find by the way, and reset the phone. it is still showing full memory consumption, and i dont know what else to do. i do not want to rest or reflash and have to go through all my settings. any ideas ??
