sharing internet package between phones.

Does anybody know if there is a way to share an internet package between phones. My work supplies me with a XV6800 and I personally have the XV6900. would it be possible to cancel the 6900's data plan and use the 6800's data plan.

That mainly allows for the Phone as modem bluetooth profile to be able to share with another device. I'm assuming you have Verizon, but Sprint runs on a simular network which will not allow you to share a data pack, because the carriers specify internet usage per phone active on their system. (They use the ESN and MDN to moniter usage for minutes, text, internet usage and reference that usage off the codes in the plan that's active on your account.)

So I have a Mogul and a Touch and go back from one to another a few times a week. Now I go to Sprint.com and change my ESN on my account and only one phone can make/receive phone calls but both always have data. I can be on my Mogul talking and checking my email on my Touch. Its like a delay in the data disconnect. Its odd.

Re: sharing internet package between phones.

I just saw something like that in my store yesterday, a guy upgraded to a rumor, but was able to watch Sprint TV on his MUZIQ, the only thing I can think of is that the phone is still programmed with your info. Calls/text and data connect differently, call go based off ESN, MSID and MDN programmed into the phone, Data goes off of MDN and USER ID but the switch that tells the network not to allow the ESN attached to your USER ID to be able to connect or not.
