thinking of selling my htc touch

it is less than 2 months old and in great shape with all accessories included. i may get a palm centro through sprint and get another 2 year contract as mine is expired now. how much do you guys think i could get for it ? also is there any customization for a palm centro ?

why not wait for the touch diamond...comes out in a few days...check it out!

I've been looking to buy a touch through ebay, because I do not want to extend my expired Sprint contract. I figure the price will drop a bunch after the Diamond is out. I have been using my Samsung SPH-I500 for the past few years, and am sure any new phone willl be a huge upgrade (but I will miss the durable clamshell and the dialpad.) Prior to that I was an "early adopter" with my Kyocera 6025 brick.

Right now the Touch tends to sell for $140-$190 on Ebay. You can do a search to confirm. there are many for sale everyday.

If I jump on the Diamond, I'll probably put mine for sale too. at an extremely reasonable price just to clear it out.

I'm hoping that I can get one in the next month for about $100- basically what Sprint charges, but without the coutract. Unfortunately, I may have to wait a while to find one that cheap (or get lucky on Ebay.)

I bought my last phone after it dropped to a reasonable price, and hope to do the same with the Touch. Can't wait to finally get one and take advantage of everyone's hard work here.

BTW- I think the Touch is probably worth more than that, but I may be moving to Singapore next year, and don't want to spend a lot on a phone and then have to turn around and sell it.

Why not just post it in Bargain Trader with a few pics and say $200 OBO and see how it goes, maybe you'll find a straight across trade.
I have seen quite a few get sold in there and just traded a new Mogul for a new Touch a few weeks ago..

the touch on sprint.com is 99$ so if ebay wants 140 to 190$ there nuts.

Ya with a 2 year contract. Check on retail from Sprint with out the 2 year contract and tell me how much it is.

without a contract from sprint the phone is $399.00. i payed $275.00 on ebay a few months ago brand new.

Well, I bought my wife the Centro and she likes it. She likes it because of the lack of customization, meaning I won't touch it. I just put games, music, and ringtones on for her as she requests. I can't stand Palm OS.
