do the reverse. install the sprint rom, then install the bell radio only from a card. it works pretty good. |

Re: sprint rom
It's fairly easy to do. There are four files that you will need.
1. Bell Rom 2. Sprint Rom 3. Winrar for your computer 4. Ruu.rar from this link: ftp://ppcgeeks.com/Vogue/Users/rstoyguy/tools/RUU.rar Here are the steps; 1. Flash the Bell rom to get the radio. 2. Download and install WinRar to your computer. 3. Extract Ruu.rar to it's own directory. (flash utulity) 4. Right click on the Sprint rom in file explorer and select "Open with WinRar" 5. Click on and hold 2.nbh. 6. Drag that into the same directory with RUU.rar and drop it in there... 7. Once the Bell rom is flashed, go into the RUU.rar directory and run RomUpdateUtility which will flash the sprint stock rom. 8. Enjoy!

i'm learning more and more each day from everyone here. just a quick question since you know a tremondous amount of info. would it work out the same by flashing the sprint rom, then flashing the bell radio from the sd card? that's been the method i use and since i'm not the shiniest marble in the bag, in my small mind it seems a little more straight forward. i would really like to learn more about this. |

Re: sprint rom
I followed the steps. After I flashed Bell Rom, my radio was 3.42.50. Then I opened WinRar, and dragged 2.nbh from the official sprint rom to RUU folder. Then I ran ROMUpdateUtility.exe to flash the sprint rom.
After the flashing, to my surprise, my radio went back to 3.42.30. It appears that the Bell Rom flashing effort was wasted. Does the "2.nbh" also have the radio information?? Quote:
