Exclamation Alerts for mms

For some reason the audible alerts for my text/mms have stopped working. I have checked in sounds and notifications and they are enabled so I am not sure what the problem is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Alerts for mms

Well, the only thing I can think of is to re-install Microsoft Voice Command and see if that helps any. There has to be something wrong somewhere.

Re: Alerts for mms

KC,
Is it just the sound, or the notification itself is not coming up? When you receive a txt msg, you should hear the sound AND see a notification on the bottom of the window, telling you that you have received a txt msg.
I had a similar issue not long ago, my phone would wake up, the txt msgs would come in, the msg count would increase, but no notification nor sound whatsoever.
I had performed the reg edit to hide the Outlook account that comes by default, because I was not using it. That broke my txt msgs notification. Put everything back and the notifications worked again.

Re: Alerts for mms

I bet that was the problem. I too did that same reg edit. It was only the sound that wasn't working with mine though. Now, after a reflash of my phone I can send mms, but I can't recieve them...they just never show up on my phone. Not sure what the deal with that is, but I started another thread on that one.
