Can not program phone

I have an Alltel HTC touch which I originally wanted to use on the Verizon network so I flashed a ROM with Verizon customizations. I found out that they would not allow it so I reflashed the newest ALLTEL rom but when I try to program it it keeps connecting to the verizon wireless over the air programming instead of the alltel one. is there something else i need to restore?

In order to recover my device from letting Bell customzations run, I flashed to NFSFAN's Sprint rom, ran the ##786# phone code to reset network settings, then flashed to the latest stock Alltel rom and successfully activated from there. However, even while running the Bell and Sprint carrier customizations I still recieved Alltel's over-the-air activiation, so I don't know how well this will work for you). The way conflipper explained it to me is that the Alltel ROM cannot overwrite settings for other carriers, but by clearing and then reflashing to the Alltel official ROM you can replace them.
