Need some help with a blue tooth issue...

I just bought a blueant z9 bluetooth which has awesome sound quality btw. Every time i turn the bluetooth back on i have to refresh it on my phone before it will reconnect. Any ideas why it doesnt automatically reconnect like every other blue tooth i ever had did. Btw i am running latest ver 3.4 firmware on the bluetooth and WM 6.1 rev A on phone.
