No official Rom upgrade

I hope to lose this bet, but my money says there will not be one at least for Rev A anyway.

When the Mogul got it, its price went up. And the Vogue's price just dropped significantly. Sprint obviously feels there is no more value there. Why would they make it into a star now?

Please dissuade me.

Why would they release two unofficial ROM upgrades only to not release an official one? That doesn't really make sense to me. They've pretty much got it ready to go with the exception of a few bugs. It wouldn't make sense to not patch them up and send it out.

the mogul droped in price for around a month before the rom game out, then it went back up. with the touch there are two reasons i can think of fo price drop. overstock in sprint's warehouse or the up and coming release of the Diamond. either way i do not think it will effect a rom release for the touch.

My money is that the Touch Diamond is the official Rev A upgrade. Should be here by the end of the year. LMAO @Sprint. I'm saving money until HTC releases a truly complete PPC for WM7/WM8, Android, LinMo, etc ... whenever the hell that'll be.

That's one phone and one factor. We shouldn't base all our assumptions on it. I agree with the previous poster, they're obviously working on a release.

Companies don't typically waste time (and money) on quality assurance if they're not going through with it.

Errr.... remember that the carriers are all doing anything & everything they can to compete with all the iPhone madness. There will be price drops... oh yes... there WILL be price drops. </ insider information>
