Whats the latest and best ROM to upgrade??

I got the one that came out first with GPS.. I forget which one it was.. But it took a while to upgrade.. The GPS sucks on it.. I heard there is some new ones out that work well..


I guess what I am asking.. Is there a simple, The best Rom, out ?? And if so which one is it? THANKS!

Whichever one fits your needs.
Since you're having trouble, ask yourself "what do I want?", then compare your list of wants to the available ROMs. Which ever comes closes to a match, try it. If you don't like it, try again!

I realized I have the first Altell rom thing.. It gave me GPS, but the GPS barley works.. It takes 30+ minutes to get a lock using GPS viewer..



As I said in my post.. I WANT GPS!!

Is there one that works yet?

and realized the GPS works well, but you cannot receive calls while its enabled.. LOL Yea.. Who in their right mind would do that?

Honestly, the best thing you can do is just to live with it. You're a teen in puberty, you're going to be getting acne for a few more years. Try the New Clearasil kit, Womens Health or a gental foaming face wash followed by a moisturizer with an SPF no lower than 15.

All the new ROMs based on the new radio should have GPS. I use the xda Sprint leak and I get GPS locks in a matter of seconds.
I can take calls, text, whatever while it's active.

What carrier r U anyways? I installed the 1st official leaked rom from DCD and the GPS works like a charm. I am thinking of selling my GPS coz it just work as good as my phone. I'm on sprint. I really don't understand why people R having problems with the GPS while we all use the same device. Lock is under 10 secs with radio on or off. I tried using almost all gps software including live search and google maps. Hmmm. maybe it's the location? I don't know. there are 32 satelites above us which is for GPS use alone. So it can't be.

Thats not a ROM. It is a Tutorial on how to Upgrade your phone.

Personally, I think DHarveys 2.7.2 ROM is the absolute best. Its super fast and GPS works great.

What do U mean by GPS sucks though? elaborate. Use dcd's official leaked rom. the 1st one I use right now and there is no problem with the GPS. This ROM is signed so U don't need to unlock or lock ur device. Just follow the instructions then play the waiting game. U can try dcd's newer version too if U like, coz I read a lot of good reviews on the GPS functionality. Just make sure, This is important, Hard reset ur device right after the flash. U can do it twice if U like. after that, Enjoy ur GPS ok.There are tons of GPS software out there with turn by turn voice directions. Just pick ur pick.
