Very strange TouchPal problem...

Okay, so I was trying to send a text message with the TouchPal 3.5 keyboard today and when I got to the word "were" and all the sudden my phone restarted. So, frustrated, I tried to send the text message again, and sure enough, "were" caused the phone to restart. Now, curious...I tried typing the word "were" by itself, still using the TouchPal 3.5 keyboard, and the phone restarts. If I type "were" with a different keyboard, the system takes it just fine. This is possibly the strangest problem I've ever had with the Vogue. Anyone else ever experience like this?

Re: Very strange TouchPal problem...

it could be a problem related to auto complete and that keyboard...the word were is confusing as the auto complete wonders if it should be we're or just were...that could be causing your problem...turn off auto complete and see if it still happens

This is a known problem. Cootek has posted a hotfix. Just go to there site and re download the app.

Re: Very strange TouchPal problem...

lol, it's a known problem for the word "were"? That's hilarious. Anyway, it only happens when I have the "Predict the next word" option selected. I'll try that fix though, thanks!

EDIT:
Could you post a link to that hotfix? I can't find it on Cootek's site anywhere...unless I just need to re-download and re-install?
