Is it possible to Plug 1 USB device while Charging Touch

Hi,

I'm wondering if it is possible to plug 1 external USB device while charging the HTC?

Since there is only one USB outlet, can i buy a USB Splitter (unlike the audio and usb splitter that it came with) where i of the USB female can be used to charge the phone and the other USB female to connect the other device?

Thanks

The phone came with something like that. The headphone splitter, you charge through the headphone spot and connect external device through other usb slot.

I tried using the existing adapter that came with it and the USB i plug it to my laptop and it charges but the other USB is meant for the headset... ic ant charge it thourgh the latter...

i thought you can split USB so this is why Im asking may be they sell a special adapter to split USB...

Your phone charges through the usb - so no real need to do that..

yeah but the external device draws power from the usb... so if i plug it in the Touch, through the only USB female plug, I need an external power source to charge it

ps: its a GPS Pharos device

it would be nice, but I've never heard
that one can connect a USB device to Touch..

I suppose one needs to install USB driver for that device
on Touch's Windows Mobile.. do they esit at all such drivers?

any expert opinions?
