screen alignment / offset

i just successfully updated my verizon xv6900 w/ the gps, rev a, and wm6.1 rom, and everything seems to be working pretty well, but the screen seems to be offset a little downward- there's a little rainbow colored strip at the top of the today screen. it doesn't appear on the touchflo screen.

i've seen this on many screenshots of updated roms- any way to shift the screen up a little bit so the rainbow strip goes away?

Re: screen alignment / offset

if the rainbow strip is really thin, then all it is is a battery indicator...it comes with some of the roms that are distributed in this forum...what rom did you flash onto your phone?

Re: screen alignment / offset

yep...that's the one that i had originally flashed but now i use ludester's and i like it much better

anyways, yeah if you look at the strip, it will decrease by what amounts to 10% increments (showing your battery life)
This post has been thanked 1 times.

Re: screen alignment / offset

I'm on JD's hybrid right now and its pretty nice. No touch-flo, but I've managed to costomize the ROM back to "HTC" style as much as possible. Its kind of nice being able to install what you want, instead of being forced-fed to you.

Re: screen alignment / offset

since the rainbow is a battery gauge, do you guys know if there is a way to remove the battery icon from the 'task bar' thing (where the clock and such are)?

thanks! this forum seriously rocks.
