Possible RevA Help. Please Read!

Ok here is what I did:
Dial ##778#
Hit Edit
Entered my MSL
Hit 'View Info' left softkey
Hit 'Data Parameters'
I noticed the Rev. A setting was 'Disable'
Highlight it and hit 'Menu - Edit' and change it to Enable
Exit and save changes, let it soft reset.

I am running Almost OEM 6.1 Sprint Rom V2.1 http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=26776 with 3.37.15 Radio.

I am right in the middle of a RevA service area.
I tested with this option enabled and disabled and it made no difference. Both tests hovered around 512K on speedtest.net.

Can someone else try this and find results???
If you need your MSL, drop me a PM with your cell number and ESN and I can look it up for you.. I work in a Sprint indirect store.

Re: Possible RevA Help. Please Read!

i think that might be the opposite of what you want to do:
take a look at this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?p=2257582

according to aguas post # 4:
"check your EPST settings. if RevA is ENABLED, change it to DISABLED. its a misnomer."

Tried this on the official ROM update but there is no rev.a settings. Must not have rev.a then. Can anyone confirm this?
