How to set default screen ???

I would like my Sprint Touch to remember and goto the screen/app I was on last. As an example, if I am in Contacts and the soft power is turned off/locks device after inactivity or even if I simply press the soft power off myself would like it to go back to Contacts when I turn it on/unlock it again. It always goes to my home page ... was hoping SBP app would solve this but it does the same. Very annoying ... thanks in advance for any help ...

go to Start>Settings>Today>Items and uncheck the box "Today Timeout". That setting tells the today screen to come up after a certain amount of inactive time.

Thanks for the info ... mine was set to 4hr. But, it still goes to the home page every time I hit the power button or when unlocking ... anyway to get it to go to the screen/app I was using last ???

TW Vette, my Sprint Touch acts the way you want yours to do. There's gotta be something causing yours to default back to your Today Screen. And, MusicMan, many thanks for the Today Timeout explanation, which has been a mystery that's been bugging me ever since PPC2003, in which it was spelled out that way. But my bug-infested WM5 iPAQ had it spelled out like WM6 in Touch, sort of mysteriously, however it had no effect, checked or not. Something was over-riding it, I guess, as apparently is the case for twvette.

Could it be a plugin overriding the timeout? What plugins do you use?
